Hi, I’m Jamie Jacobson, founder of InnerVoice Coaching.

For more than 25 years, I’ve worked as a vocal function technician and voice instructor, helping people strengthen not only how they sound, but how they show up in the world. Through that work, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply voice is connected to confidence, identity, self-trust, and personal transformation.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Music Performance and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Oregon University, along with completing work towards my Master’s degree in Vocal Pedagogy from Boise State University. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the powerful connection between voice, emotional wellness, and authentic self-expression.

Today, in addition to my professional work in the mental health field, InnerVoice Coaching allows me to support people in a different and deeply personal way through coaching focused on clarity, confidence, identity, leadership, and authentic self-expression through vocal work. It creates a space where clients can explore growth, navigate transition, and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels both practical and meaningful.

I believe your voice is more than sound. The voice is an expression of identity, authenticity, and connection. I specialize in gender-affirming vocal function coaching for transgender and non-binary individuals seeking a voice that feels genuinely their own. Together, we'll develop vocal skills that support your goals while building confidence in expressing yourself authentically in every area of life. My approach is warm, individualized, and rooted in empathy, helping you discover not just a new voice, but one that truly feels like yours.
